Recipe: Baked Sweet Potatoes
It seems a little bit silly to post a recipe that literally everyone knows how to make. I wanted to share it because baked sweet potatoes are one of my favorite foods. Sometimes I eat 2 large baked sweet potatoes with butter as a meal because I love them that much. I make them 2 ways: in the oven (when I’m making a lot) and in the air fryer (for 2-3).
Ingredients:
baked sweet potatoes
(optional) unsalted butter
Oven Method:
Preheat oven to 425 F
Clean the exterior of the sweet potatoes with water and a brush
Bake on foil-lined baking tray for 45 min-1 hr or until soft enough to poke through with a chopstick
Serve with unsalted butter
Air Fryer Method:
Clean the exterior of the sweet potatoes with water and a brush
Cook in air fryer at 400F for 1 hr or until soft enough to poke through with a chopstick
Serve with unsalted butter
Notes:
There isn’t much else to say here! I personally like to let mine get so soft that the sugar inside begins to spill out and caramelize. The chopstick can go all the way through from side to side. Then I eat it with like 1 entire tbsp of butter because a healthy sweet potato and unhealthy butter just balances out right?
